After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Neil Gill managed to get in a good position for a shot. T H F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Gill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John-Paul Watkinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Rufus Heath was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Malá Lula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave T H F C the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Fc Malá Lula:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of T H F C:s goal. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for T H F C. Daniel Gillow stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving John-Paul Watkinson. 0-2. Neil Gill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Paul Watkinson having to interfere. John-Paul Watkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Midgley in the 20th minute of the match. T H F C's Luke Bush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ged Mayfield in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, T H F C's John-Paul Lumbergs got a free kick in the 27th minute. Luke Bush was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alfredo Intxixu. If Franz Midgley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Matt Friend left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The T H F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Fc Malá Lula's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Friend came free, but John-Paul Watkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Donny Beckwith came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the T H F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donny Beckwith couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 minutes of play, T H F C's Neil Gill made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John-Paul Watkinson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matt Friend could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but John-Paul Watkinson made a huge save. Donny Beckwith took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Paul Watkinson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Midgley in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John-Paul Watkinson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Ronan Sugden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donny Beckwith blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John-Paul Watkinson having to make a save. John-Paul Watkinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franz Midgley's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the game, T H F C's Franz Midgley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John-Paul Watkinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. T H F C's Orson Billington was substituted for Donny Beckwith. Shawn Coulson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but John-Paul Watkinson made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Fc Malá Lula's Christian Ashton seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Christian Ashton the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fc Malá Lula protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Christian Ashton had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Fc Malá Lula's Christian Ashton got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 85th minute, Daniel Gillow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
