The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Júlio Severo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Fred Lineker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaverius Xavier in the 11th minute of the match. Hockley AFC's Fred Lineker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Lang in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Edgar Lang fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fred Lineker, passed just outside the right post. If Xaverius Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Ma Ting Nan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Lang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fred Lineker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes FC ARK CS got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Lang. 31 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Seagrave came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Júlio Severo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fred Lineker. 45 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Hubbard came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Corcoran in the 67th minute of play forced Hockley AFC's goalkeeper Fred Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Hubbard, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Hubbard in the 73rd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Sammy Corcoran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Lineker was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Hockley AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
