Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gez Little in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matteo Gillis got free with Argyris Loukoumakis in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ampthill FC's Argyris Loukoumakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Gillis in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Dragnea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Argyris Loukoumakis, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zack Alderson made a kick off. Ampthill FC made a substitution. Alvino Serre replaced Zack Alderson. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Dragnea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Argyris Loukoumakis was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Goo Goo Dolls's Dom Rusby was substituted for Teddy Ball. Dom Rusby made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Brian Hughes however managed to control. Wang Hao Zheng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Benjamin Cuss made a huge save. Brian Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 65th play minutes Gez Little shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Benjamin Cuss and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 68th minute Cacá Mangione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argyris Loukoumakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper Benjamin Cuss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gez Little. The crowd rose to their feet as Ampthill FC's Gez Little slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Cuss. That made the score 2-2 after 70 minutes of play. In the 75th minute Goo Goo Dolls were awarded a corner. Olimpiu Dragnea went to the cornerflag to take it. Wang Hao Zheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benjamin Cuss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Cuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Little in the 87th minute of the match. Wang Hao Zheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
