In the 40th minute, German Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes Racing Club Warwick got a freekick which was hit by Alec Heath. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Harlow AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
