Spectators: 9257 (Terracing: 6944, Seating: 2129, VIP seats: 184) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Camilo Ferrara got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kant Cooley. In the 6th minute Camilo Ferrara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Collier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Kees Zeydeveld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sly Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kant Cooley in the 17th minute of the match. Darryl Howlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhao Ran Ming having to interfere. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kant Cooley in the 19th minute of play. Sam-Lucas Neirynck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Charles Armitstead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Camilo Ferrara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sly Collier, 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Silvester Odell came free, but Zhao Ran Ming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Kant Cooley notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stickleback Utd Xl's Sly Collier. Sly Collier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stephen Clapham charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephen Clapham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Stickleback Utd Xl got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Clapham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Ferrara in the 44th minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raf Vermaelen hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. Olly Paley replaced Gary Pettifer. Stickleback Utd Xl's Cliff Flower was substituted for Kees Zeydeveld. Stickleback Utd Xl's Kevin Ahlbeck was substituted for Charles Armitstead. Coventry Wasps's Zhao Ran Ming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephen Clapham in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stickleback Utd Xl's Darryl Howlett slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zhao Ran Ming. That made the score 2-1 after 56 minutes of play. Kant Cooley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sly Collier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Camilo Ferrara scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sly Collier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute Zack Doughty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Collier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Darryl Howlett fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stickleback Utd Xl's protests and gave Darryl Howlett a yellow card for diving instead. Darryl Howlett kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Coventry Wasps booed when Stickleback Utd Xl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Howlett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvester Odell in the 85th minute of play. Darryl Howlett kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Camilo Ferrara made a precise shot to the right of Sly Collier. Stickleback Utd Xl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Coventry Wasps were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Stickleback Utd Xl for a fine match.
