Janes Van Huruck came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Stickleback Utd Xl's Benji Browne. But to his dismay, Benji Browne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sly Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Higginson in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute Lance Eyre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sly Collier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benji Browne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janes Van Huruck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Janes Van Huruck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benji Browne in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Eyre in the 31st minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sly Collier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Higginson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Benji Browne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stickleback Utd Xl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benji Browne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benji Browne got free with Janes Van Huruck in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Lance Eyre came free, but Sly Collier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. Kevin Ahlbeck replaced Rich Thorn. Benji Browne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janes Van Huruck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Benji Browne might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janes Van Huruck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benji Browne ran back to his position shaking his head. Hythe Rangers United's Janes Van Huruck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benji Browne in the 58th minute of play. Benji Browne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janes Van Huruck having to make a save. Benji Browne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janes Van Huruck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Tosh Higginson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Sly Collier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benji Browne in the 62nd minute of play forced Hythe Rangers United's goalkeeper Janes Van Huruck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Sly Collier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tosh Higginson. Benji Browne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janes Van Huruck having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hythe Rangers United's zone, Benji Browne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janes Van Huruck came out of the goal and Benji Browne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Stickleback Utd Xl's Benji Browne in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hythe Rangers United's goalie prevented a goal. Sly Collier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tosh Higginson in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, Hythe Rangers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cody Wilson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lance Eyre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sly Collier was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Benji Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stickleback Utd Xl had won after a very even match.
