Abdelkader Fnardji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bouziane Benhamou in the 3rd minute of the match. If Sammy Haddou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Alresford booed when Wimbledon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Larbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bouziane Benhamou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bouziane Benhamou scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdelkader Fnardji, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16thth minute of the game Hatim Bencherif who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wimbledon's Abdelkader Fnardji was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdelkader Fnardji stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hatim Bencherif's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Bouziane Benhamou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Abdelkader Fnardji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wimbledon's Abdelkader Fnardji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hatim Bencherif in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Bouziane Benhamou could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Abdelkader Fnardji however easily saved by the left post. After taking down the ball on Alresford's corner Bouziane Benhamou fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abdelkader Fnardji quite easily take care of the ball. Nacer-Eddine Ulansi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alresford's goalkeeper Ibrahim Liegeon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Sammy Haddou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bouziane Benhamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelkader Fnardji having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Mohamed Larbi made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Alresford's Badis Ramdane got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes, Mohamed Larbi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alresford's Ibrahim Liegeon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alresford's Ibrahim Liegeon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Alresford from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Badis Ramdane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Wimbledon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Larbi to maneuver through the defense. Abdelkader Fnardji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatim Bencherif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Wimbledon's zone, Hatim Bencherif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelkader Fnardji came out of the goal and Hatim Bencherif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the game, one of Alresford:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Addas Massi scored 1-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ibrahim Liegeon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alresford! The goalkeeper, Ibrahim Liegeon, was totally fooled by Wimbledon's Nacer-Eddine Ulansi, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Bouziane Benhamou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alresford's supporters rose to their feet, but Bouziane Benhamou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelkader Fnardji breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wimbledon had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
