Youssef Bouchemla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ibrahim Liegeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ouali Brahami hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The long shot by Ilias Mesbah in the 9th minute really tested Ibrahim Liegeon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 11 minutes into the game, Potters Bar's Razi Abdessalam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ibrahim Liegeon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bouziane Benhamou took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lamine Benmabrouk. Lamine Benmabrouk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bouziane Benhamou in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lamine Benmabrouk saved Potters Bar from getting behind. In the 22nd minute of the match, Razi Abdessalam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ibrahim Liegeon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Adrir Tobbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ibrahim Liegeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ouali Brahami's late challenge caught a Potters Bar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ouali Brahami helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Ouali Brahami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Potters Bar's goal looked a bit too open when Hatim Bencherif came free, but Lamine Benmabrouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Younes Hadjadj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potters Bar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alresford the free kick. The supporters of Alresford booed when Potters Bar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Younes Hadjadj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youssef Bouchemla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ibrahim Liegeon made a huge save.

With his leg Lamine Benmabrouk managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Alresford's Bouziane Benhamou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Razi Abdessalam in the 65th minute of play forced Alresford's goalkeeper Ibrahim Liegeon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Potters Bar's zone, Bouziane Benhamou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamine Benmabrouk came out of the goal and Bouziane Benhamou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Youssef Bouchemla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bouziane Benhamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamine Benmabrouk having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hatim Bencherif in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lamine Benmabrouk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Potters Bar's Ilias Mesbah got a free kick in the 81st minute. Djamal Zemirline could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Lamine Benmabrouk made a huge save. Alresford's Bouziane Benhamou got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Youssef Bouchemla came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Potters Bar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Youssef Bouchemla couldn't finish the play. Ibrahim Liegeon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Razi Abdessalam's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
