Grange-over-Sands were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Rawmarsh's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ayachi Aïn Madhi took the corner. Iher Djenane might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hatim Belkheir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iher Djenane ran back to his position shaking his head. Hatim Belkheir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Djafar Khabatou in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Djafar Khabatou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Djafar Khabatou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Hatim Belkheir made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Abdelnacer Bouzid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Grange-over-Sands's Iher Djenane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hatim Belkheir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tijani Djura kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Djafar Khabatou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hatim Belkheir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 28th play minute Djafar Khabatou came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hatim Belkheir. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Madani Mohamed in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anis Cerbah saved Grange-over-Sands from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Aszar Menia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Farouk Sellami left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grange-over-Sands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Farouk Sellami dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hatim Belkheir, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iher Djenane was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Madani Mohamed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Cerbah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Grange-over-Sands getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ayachi Aïn Madhi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iher Djenane in the 63rd minute of play forced Rawmarsh's goalkeeper Hatim Belkheir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grange-over-Sands's Iher Djenane got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tijani Djura kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Ayachi Aïn Madhi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rawmarsh's Hatim Belkheir didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tijani Djura during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tijani Djura kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Anis Cerbah made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Adan El Ouazzani sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Madani Mohamed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Cerbah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Abdelnacer Bouzid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grange-over-Sands were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
