Addas Balaid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tijani Taâllah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmed Kafi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Tijani Taâllah made a huge save. Tijani Taâllah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Addas Balaid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tijani Taâllah having to interfere. When Addas Balaid came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the East Grinstead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Addas Balaid couldn't finish the play. Ahmed Kafi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tijani Taâllah made a huge save. Addas Balaid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Stone City booed when East Grinstead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hocine Adjaoud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Imad Arouaba, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jawed Metaref showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustapha Metref in the 34th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Stone City got a freekick which was hit by Azzad Naït Mazi. 49 minutes into the match, East Grinstead's Abdellah Bilal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Hamid Kraouche hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Mustapha Metref sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azzad Naït Mazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jawed Metaref having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Stone City's Mustapha Metref made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jawed Metaref was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ahmed Kafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. East Grinstead's Jawed Metaref proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save East Grinstead from getting a goal against them. Azzad Naït Mazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jawed Metaref having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Ahmed Kafi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tijani Taâllah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tijani Taâllah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Addas Balaid in the 87th minute of play. Mustapha Metref received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jawed Metaref tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustapha Metref fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jawed Metaref having to interfere. In the 96th minute Ahmed Kafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tijani Taâllah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tijani Taâllah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Kafi, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. East Grinstead had won after a very even match.
