Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berkwan Mhenni took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Cherif Kazi-Tani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adel Bahari was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Gebril Belkheir kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Cherif Kazi-Tani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adel Bahari. Cherif Kazi-Tani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Poynton's goalkeeper Adel Bahari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amayas Benzine. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Yassine Ounissi sped through Prescot United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha. In the 25th minute Yassine Ounissi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Poynton's Berkwan Mhenni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cherif Kazi-Tani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prescot United's supporters rose to their feet, but Cherif Kazi-Tani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adel Bahari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Amayas Benzine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adel Bahari made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Amayas Benzine sent off a good shot on target. Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yassine Ounissi in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Berkwan Mhenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkwan Mhenni, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Poynton were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cherif Kazi-Tani to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Prescot United's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yassine Ounissi. In the 64th minute Berkwan Mhenni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Prescot United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Bedjaoui to maneuver through the defense. Berkwan Mhenni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha having to interfere. Yassine Ounissi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Amayas Benzine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prescot United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 76th minute, Hadi Bachtarzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Poynton's Mohamed Amara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yassine Ounissi got free with Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mohand Sadmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yassine Ounissi struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Abdelaziz Zaâmoucha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poynton. Cherif Kazi-Tani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poynton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
