After 25 minutes, Djamel Moumen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yeovil FC and the Dunton Green AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute of the match, Malik Bourebbou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Khaled Souakri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abdessatar Messis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhat Hammani in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dunton Green AFC's zone, Badda Ziani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdessatar Messis came out of the goal and Badda Ziani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Abdellah Ataïlyya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunton Green AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdellah Ataïlyya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khaled Souakri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mustapha Meskine hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Yacoub Derbouz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeovil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunton Green AFC the free kick. The supporters of Dunton Green AFC booed when Yeovil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yacoub Derbouz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malik Bourebbou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Khaled Souakri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nadji Badis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Malik Bourebbou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khaled Souakri was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
