It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laïd Ammour kicked off to start the match. Laïd Ammour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nouredine Mazouni having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Kamil Labi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Waterloo and South Bank United's Khelifa Massi. Khelifa Massi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Wanborough United's Fouad El Karimi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Wanborough United's Nouredine Mazouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laïd Ammour in the 18th minute of play. If Kamil Labi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waterloo and South Bank United's Khelifa Massi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Waterloo and South Bank United from getting a goal against them. When Bellemou Boukensa came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Waterloo and South Bank United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bellemou Boukensa couldn't finish the play. Khelifa Massi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fouad El Karimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Waterloo and South Bank United's goal looked a bit too open when Fouad El Karimi came free, but Khelifa Massi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fouad El Karimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khelifa Massi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fouad El Karimi in the 44th minute of play. Khelifa Massi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fouad El Karimi in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fouad El Karimi to strike the kick off in the second half. Kamil Labi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Madjid Zaaboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khelifa Massi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nouredine Mazouni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laïd Ammour, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Wanborough United's Nouredine Mazouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laïd Ammour in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Wanborough United's goal looked a bit too open when Laïd Ammour came free, but Nouredine Mazouni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laïd Ammour struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nouredine Mazouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waterloo and South Bank United. Fouad El Karimi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khelifa Massi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Laïd Ammour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Djamel Abdessalam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wanborough United and the Waterloo and South Bank United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, one of Wanborough United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wanborough United. If Laïd Ammour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Bellemou Boukensa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nouredine Mazouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laïd Ammour in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wanborough United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Waterloo and South Bank United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
