After a defensive mix-up in Wellington's zone, Kamil Labi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheb Rahmani came out of the goal and Kamil Labi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fouad El Karimi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Wanborough United got a freekick which was hit by Fahd Zerguelaine. Kamil Labi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cheb Rahmani having to make a save. Nouredine Mazouni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Lakhdar Arif came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Wellington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakhdar Arif couldn't finish the play. Cheb Rahmani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fouad El Karimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Wellington's goal looked a bit too open when Kamil Labi came free, but Cheb Rahmani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Wanborough United booed when Wellington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madjer Dahmane didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wellington eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
