But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hassan Bendissari couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Kings Cross AFC defense, Hicham Abdelghani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chakib El Ouchem. The Kings Cross AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chakib El Ouchem should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Ferryton's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Madjer came free, but Amine Amirouche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amine Amirouche made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Fouhad Gourion sent off a good shot on target. Kings Cross AFC's Chakib El Ouchem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hicham Abdelghani in the 20th minute of play. Ferryton's Hicham Abdelghani got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amine Amirouche was a little too slow when Karim Madjer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. Hassan Bendissari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chakib El Ouchem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hassan Bendissari's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Fouhad Gourion sped through Ferryton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amine Amirouche. Hassan Bendissari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Ferryton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asmil Apap to maneuver through the defense. Fouhad Gourion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fouhad Gourion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amine Amirouche having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hicham Abdelghani was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Karim Madjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amine Amirouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fouhad Gourion came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Kings Cross AFC fans jumped to their feet. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chakib El Ouchem, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chakib El Ouchem made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Hassan Bendissari sent off a good shot on target. Amine Amirouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karim Madjer, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
