Spectators: 6744 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) In the 9thth minute of the game Yacoub Djenia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wallasey FC's Makhlouf Moussa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Reda in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fahd Merniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamid Metidji was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Helsby's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Yacoub Djenia might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Makhlouf Moussa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yacoub Djenia ran back to his position shaking his head. Makhlouf Moussa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yacoub Djenia in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Helsby's zone, Cheikh Belaout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fahd Merniz came out of the goal and Cheikh Belaout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tahar Draï kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Helsby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdessatar Mazari to maneuver through the defense. Cheikh Belaout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Helsby fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Abdessalem Boukhari's late challenge caught a Helsby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdessalem Boukhari helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Helsby booed when Wallasey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdessalem Boukhari didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Wallasey FC's goalkeeper Makhlouf Moussa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamid Metidji. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yacoub Djenia was the one to do the kick off. Cheikh Belaout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahd Merniz having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Wallasey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamid Metidji came free, but Makhlouf Moussa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Amine Megharia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66th play minutes Hamid Metidji shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Makhlouf Moussa and just under the crossbar into goal. Yacoub Djenia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makhlouf Moussa having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Abdessalem Boukhari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wallasey FC's Makhlouf Moussa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Metidji in the 76th minute of play. Makhlouf Moussa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yacoub Djenia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fahd Merniz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amhaws El Maleh. 88 minutes into the game, Hadj Zughba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wallasey FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Helsby the free kick. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Helsby. Zaki El Maleh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Makhlouf Moussa. 2-1. Ahmed Reda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Helsby could leave the field as winners, despite Wallasey FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
