After a defensive mix-up in Weaverham AFC's zone, Moussa Kateb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hachemi Benyamina came out of the goal and Moussa Kateb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moussa Kateb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hachemi Benyamina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Riad Djaghloul fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Weaverham AFC's protests and gave Riad Djaghloul a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wokingham United booed when Weaverham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riad Djaghloul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fouhad Kerrouche was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Weaverham AFC's zone, Moussa Kateb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hachemi Benyamina came out of the goal and Moussa Kateb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ayache Mezghich charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ayache Mezghich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Ayache Mezghich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Moussa Kateb made the kick off in the second half. If Madjid Kaci Said had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Weaverham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riad Djaghloul to maneuver through the defense. Weaverham AFC's Hachemi Benyamina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moussa Kateb in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moussa Kateb in the 61st minute of play forced Weaverham AFC's goalkeeper Hachemi Benyamina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Madjid Kaci Said succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Madjid Kaci Said sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamza Salah might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamid Brahami. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamza Salah ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 minutes of play, Wokingham United's Hicham Halimi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hachemi Benyamina was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute Moussa Kateb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hachemi Benyamina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Hamza Salah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weaverham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamza Salah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamza Salah struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Hamid Brahami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weaverham AFC.
