The supporters of Shirebrook booed when Folkestone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahaszzi Messayeb didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lounes Bouteflika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shirebrook's Zinedine Faudel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Shirebrook from getting a goal against them. Sofyane Danedji made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelmalek Dennane in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Folkestone's Abdelmadjid Bencheikh got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Zinedine Faudel came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Folkestone's Bazga Ouadah. But to his dismay, Bazga Ouadah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Medjadi Larbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lounes Bouteflika struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sofyane Danedji didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shirebrook. Abdellah Belkacem's late challenge caught a Shirebrook's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdellah Belkacem helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Folkestone's Abdellah Belkacem got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taha Drari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Shirebrook's Sofiane Bouazza got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Taha Drari struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Zinedine Faudel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Folkestone. Taha Drari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Bazga Ouadah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Folkestone's supporters rose to their feet, but Bazga Ouadah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zinedine Faudel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Lounes Bouteflika rounded Folkestone's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Hassan Hansali kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Taha Drari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zinedine Faudel was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 90thth minute of the game Taha Drari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shirebrook's Zinedine Faudel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Taha Drari came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Folkestone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taha Drari couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Shirebrook getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Medjadi Larbes hit a great ball. Zinedine Faudel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bazga Ouadah, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Shirebrook's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
