Karim El Moubarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamel Bouzeghrane in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Maylandsea booed when Sandy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akim Menad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sandy's zone, Kamel Bouzeghrane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karim El Moubarek came out of the goal and Kamel Bouzeghrane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Zidane hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Maylandsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Bouzeghrane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim El Moubarek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd match minute, Sandy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Cavalli to maneuver through the defense. Sandy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maylandsea the free kick. Karim El Moubarek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karim El Moubarek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kamel Bouzeghrane went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Sandy's Karim El Moubarek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Sandy from getting a goal against them. Maylandsea were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
