Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mohan Kacha started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Souad Amraoui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Whitehaven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reach the free kick. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Reach. Said Assad stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ferhat Kensi. 0-1. Whitehaven's Souad Amraoui got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Souad Amraoui off the ground. Ferhat Kensi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maamar Guerrache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mohan Kacha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maamar Guerrache spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Whitehaven's goal. Hamid Saïfi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Whitehaven defense, Mohan Kacha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferhat Kensi. The Whitehaven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferhat Kensi should have stopped the shot. Hamid Saïfi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maamar Guerrache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Kensi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohan Kacha in the 39th minute of play forced Whitehaven's goalkeeper Ferhat Kensi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mohan Kacha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reach's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohan Kacha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferhat Kensi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maamar Guerrache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ferhat Kensi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Whitehaven got a freekick which was hit by Nasser Belmadi. Maamar Guerrache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferhat Kensi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamid Saïfi was the one to do the kick off. Ferhat Kensi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohan Kacha's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Hamid Saïfi came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Whitehaven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Saïfi couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Boussad Horr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamid Saïfi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maamar Guerrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Fouad Benzine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Whitehaven's Ikhlas Boniche broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mohan Reddad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Saïfi in the 69th minute of play. If Mohan Kacha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferhat Kensi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maamar Guerrache in the 75th minute. Mohan Kacha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohan Reddad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Saïfi in the 81st minute of the match. If Maamar Guerrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamid Saïfi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Zoheir Reda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferhat Kensi skillfully saved the ball. Hamid Saïfi took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohan Reddad. Mohan Reddad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 96th minute, Ilyas Alemdar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
