The audience was convinced that Driss Nasro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abderrahmane Zeghbouche was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramdane Zemirline in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adza Bouraada saved Eton from getting behind. Adza Bouraada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chafik Zeghbouche's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Seddik Meskouri came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abderrahmane Zeghbouche could save by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramdane Zemirline made a kick off. Mohan Baroudi's late challenge caught a Hemel Hempstead's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohan Baroudi helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Eton got a freekick which was hit by Mohan Baroudi. Chafik Zeghbouche who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Adza Bouraada when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chafik Zeghbouche got free with Adza Bouraada in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Driss Nasro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdallah Zitouni couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
