Rabia Zaaboub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bachir Ahmed in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Mouley Agab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelaziz Kadri. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Newthorpe's Rabia Zaaboub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bachir Ahmed in the 61st minute of play. Bachir Ahmed struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Rabia Zaaboub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kidderminster City. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newthorpe's goalkeeper Rabia Zaaboub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mouley Agab got free with Abdelaziz Kadri in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mouley Agab was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
