Ammar Apap kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Sofiane Sermadji came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Winchester FC's Aydril Khodri. But to his dismay, Aydril Khodri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Salih Meskouri made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Salih Meskouri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Winchester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salih Meskouri came free, but Fayçal Matmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Fathi Benyoucef who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cottered United's Sofiane Sermadji was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salih Meskouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fayçal Matmour having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Winchester FC's Zizou Rezkallah got a free kick in the 78th minute. Camil Saïd-Guerni charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camil Saïd-Guerni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cottered United booed when Winchester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camil Saïd-Guerni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fayçal Matmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salih Meskouri in the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Aydril Khodri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aydril Khodri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aydril Khodri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sofiane Sermadji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Winchester FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
