Ferhat Laura Douibi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sofiane Sermadji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Beaufort in the 10th minute of the match. Abdelhafid Aounellah didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cottered United's Salih Meskouri shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 15th minute, Bekathen Djazouli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferhat Laura Douibi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sofiane Sermadji made a huge save. If Mohamed Beaufort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Cottered United got a freekick which was hit by Ghani Zughba. When Ferhat Laura Douibi came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Godmanchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferhat Laura Douibi couldn't finish the play. Agwama Sad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bekathen Djazouli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Abdelhafid Aounellah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Cottered United got a freekick which was hit by Ammar Apap. 45 minutes into the match, Cottered United's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Beaufort came free, but Sofiane Sermadji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohamed Beaufort made a kick off. Mohamed Beaufort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sofiane Sermadji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cottered United's goalkeeper Sofiane Sermadji, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Cottered United's Abdelhafid Aounellah threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Salih Meskouri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cottered United's Bekathen Djazouli got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhafid Aounellah was a little too slow when Salih Meskouri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bekathen Djazouli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cottered United's supporters rose to their feet, but Bekathen Djazouli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelhafid Aounellah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adel Sandjak in the 69th minute of play forced Cottered United's goalkeeper Sofiane Sermadji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ferhat Laura Douibi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sofiane Sermadji was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sofiane Sermadji took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Beaufort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Ferhat Laura Douibi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cottered United's Sofiane Sermadji. Sofiane Sermadji was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abdelhafid Aounellah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salih Meskouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agwama Sad's late challenge caught a Cottered United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agwama Sad helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Godmanchester getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Agwama Sad hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cottered United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
