West Rainton's Malek Belhadj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dari Cherfa in the 37th minute of play. Kateb Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malek Belhadj having to interfere. Dari Cherfa might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malek Belhadj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dari Cherfa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohan Dahleb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Labib Mezghenna, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Labib Mezghenna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohan Dahleb having to interfere. If Labib Mezghenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dari Cherfa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Brahim Radjef cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mohan Dahleb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Bourne End United booed when West Rainton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdellah Hemdani didn't get a good kick on the ball. West Rainton's Malek Belhadj proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save West Rainton from getting a goal against them. Dari Cherfa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malek Belhadj having to interfere. Kateb Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Malek Belhadj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute of the match, Dari Cherfa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Malek Belhadj saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. West Rainton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
