But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilian Amara couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Liss United's Fahim Mazi got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes, Brackley's Mustapha Zaoui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Chedli Guendouz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brackley reached it. Achir Hamdoud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Chedli Guendouz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achir Hamdoud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Chedli Guendouz made a huge save. Yazid Baroudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilian Amara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chedli Guendouz firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Akram Yahlali to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walid Bouraada got free with Khalida Ali in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Akram Yahlali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalida Ali having to interfere. Ilian Amara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walid Bouraada succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 67th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilian Amara in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chedli Guendouz saved Liss United from getting behind. When Brackley's Achir Hamdoud in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liss United's goalie prevented a goal. Ibrahim Segni charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ibrahim Segni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Liss United's Ibrahim Segni got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Walid Bouraada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Chedli Guendouz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Achir Hamdoud's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Liss United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
