The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Djillali Ouadah helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Broadstairs United's Djillali Ouadah got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Hindley City's Akim Halimi in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Broadstairs United's goalie prevented a goal. Abdelkrim Karim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Agwama Ighil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hindley City's Chems Saïdi-Sief was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdelkrim Karims short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Daho El Kounya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yidir Fergani in the 42nd minute of play forced Hindley City's goalkeeper Chems Saïdi-Sief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yidir Fergani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agwama Ighil was the one to do the kick off. Chems Saïdi-Sief showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agwama Ighil, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Ahmed Reda Bendissari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daho El Kounya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkrim Karim, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 68 minutes, Saber Boudiaf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broadstairs United and the Hindley City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Broadstairs United's Saber Boudiaf got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Broadstairs United's zone, Akim Halimi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daho El Kounya came out of the goal and Akim Halimi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Abdelkrim Karim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hindley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelkrim Karim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daho El Kounya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yidir Fergani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chems Saïdi-Sief having to interfere. Akim Halimi scored 2-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daho El Kounya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yidir Fergani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 92nd minute of the match Saber Boudiaf completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saber Boudiaf a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Broadstairs United getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Saber Boudiaf hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hindley City had won after a very even match.
