Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Faouzi Bendjedid started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meols's goalkeeper Abdellah Boulmerka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Meols got a freekick which was hit by Arsan Saïdi-Sief. Mohamed Bedrina scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdellah Boulmerka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matlock's Kendi Belmellat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdel Hamid Assam in the 14th minute of play. Meols's Abdellah Boulmerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Bendjedid in the 20th minute of play. Hameur Faudel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Abdel Hamid Assam struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Kendi Belmellat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meols. Kendi Belmellat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adza Bouazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Meols's Abdellah Boulmerka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faouzi Bendjedid in the 41st minute of play. Adza Bouazza took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kendi Belmellat. Kendi Belmellat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adza Bouazza to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Meols's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Bedrina came free, but Abdellah Boulmerka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Jabar Lounis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kendi Belmellat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Ilyes Masmouda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Adza Bouazza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kendi Belmellat, 1-2. After 64 played minutes Meols got a freekick which was hit by Jabar Lounis. Mohamed Bedrina struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Abdellah Boulmerka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matlock. Faouzi Bendjedid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdel Hamid Assam got free with Kendi Belmellat in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the match, Matlock's goal looked a bit too open when Adza Bouazza came free, but Kendi Belmellat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdellah Boulmerka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Bedrina in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faouzi Bendjedid in the 81st minute of play forced Meols's goalkeeper Abdellah Boulmerka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Mohamed Bedrina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdellah Boulmerka was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Faouzi Bendjedid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdellah Boulmerka having to interfere. When Arsan Saïdi-Sief fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meols's protests and gave Arsan Saïdi-Sief a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Meols getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Arsan Saïdi-Sief hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matlock had won after a very even match.
