Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abdellah Mihoubi started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Amellal Cherrad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huyton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amellal Cherrad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Huyton getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Camel Zerara hit a great ball. Amellal Cherrad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Zouhir Abdenouz made a huge save. Badreddine Djenia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdellah Mihoubi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sid Ahmed Hamrouche came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Frodsham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Ahmed Hamrouche couldn't finish the play. Amellal Cherrads short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Zouhir Abdenouz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Badreddine Djenia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Ahmed Hamrouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 30 played minutes Frodsham City got a freekick which was hit by Samir Morceli. After some careless play in the Huyton defense, Sid Ahmed Hamrouche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Badreddine Djenia. The Huyton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Badreddine Djenia should have stopped the shot. Mohamed Kourichi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Badreddine Djenia having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Abdellah Mihoubi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Badreddine Djenia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Huyton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Frodsham City were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akim Laura Douibi made a kick off. If Mohammed Fergani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sid Ahmed Hamrouche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Badreddine Djenia made a huge save. Amellal Cherrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zouhir Abdenouz having to interfere. Mohammed Fergani hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Badreddine Djenia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdellah Mihoubi in the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Huyton getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mustapha Djamel hit a great ball. Mohammed Fergani struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Badreddine Djenia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frodsham City. Abdellah Mihoubi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Badreddine Djenia having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Akim Laura Douibi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Huyton's Bachir El Ouazzani broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Zouhir Abdenouz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akim Laura Douibi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Frodsham City players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
