Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Youssef Meskine started the match with the kick off. Cheb Cohen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youssef Meskine in the 5th minute of play. Okacha Benguesmia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifthen Zaaf having to interfere. If Chaba Fari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match Sid Ali Maillot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ifthen Zaaf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hertford City's Ifthen Zaaf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okacha Benguesmia in the 19th minute of play. A hard shot 21 in the game by Chaba Fari from a close distance when the talented Ifthen Zaaf managed to make a qualified save. Hertford City's players were relieved. 23 minutes into the game, Okacha Benguesmia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ifthen Zaaf. Okacha Benguesmia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Whitchurch United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bouabdellah Bensaïd hit a great ball. Mesbah Kouici struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Cheb Cohen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hertford City. Youssef Meskine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cheb Cohen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Whitchurch United's goal looked a bit too open when Mesbah Kouici came free, but Cheb Cohen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Okacha Benguesmia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hertford City's Ifthen Zaaf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bakezda Khodri kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Chaba Fari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitchurch United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mesbah Kouici might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheb Cohen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mesbah Kouici ran back to his position shaking his head. Cheb Cohen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mesbah Kouici in the 49th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okacha Benguesmia to strike the kick off in the second half. Okacha Benguesmia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ifthen Zaaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Bakezda Khodri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cheb Cohen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ifthen Zaaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaba Fari in the 70th minute of the match. Abdelkarim Mazari hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okacha Benguesmia in the 75th minute of play forced Hertford City's goalkeeper Ifthen Zaaf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Youssef Meskine came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hertford City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Youssef Meskine couldn't finish the play. After 79 minutes of play, Whitchurch United's Chaba Fari made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ifthen Zaaf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chaba Fari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ifthen Zaaf having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okacha Benguesmia in the 90th minute of play forced Hertford City's goalkeeper Ifthen Zaaf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Hertford City defense, Okacha Benguesmia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ifthen Zaaf. The Hertford City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ifthen Zaaf should have stopped the shot. Hertford City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
