Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Kaci Derrida came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kenilworth United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaci Derrida couldn't finish the play. Afellan Semghoun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amine Assad's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amine Assad in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afellan Semghoun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute of the match Abdellatif Louahla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afellan Semghoun skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Thamesmead United's Chokri Naït Mazi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Afellan Semghoun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amine Assad in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Ghumer Zaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustapha Merniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenilworth United's Mustapha Merniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azregh Hamdaoui in the 30th minute of play. Azregh Hamdaoui took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustapha Merniz. Mustapha Merniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Amayas Akvayli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amine Assad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Amine Assad fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Afellan Semghoun, passed just outside the right post. Amayas Akvayli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afellan Semghoun having to interfere. Mustapha Merniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azregh Hamdaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 56thth minute of the game Amine Assad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thamesmead United's Afellan Semghoun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amayas Akvayli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afellan Semghoun having to interfere. Amayas Akvayli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 81 played minutes, Kenilworth United's Abdellatif Louahla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afellan Semghoun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kenilworth United reached it. 84 minutes into the match, Thamesmead United's goal looked a bit too open when Amayas Akvayli came free, but Afellan Semghoun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Amayas Akvayli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kenilworth United's supporters rose to their feet, but Amayas Akvayli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afellan Semghoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ghumer Zaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustapha Merniz having to interfere. Azregh Hamdaoui hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Thamesmead United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
