Ahmed Belaout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yannis Khaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Belaout in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slimane Zemirli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Ahmed Belaout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slimane Zemirli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Ahmed Belaout left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westhoughton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Abdelhafid Medjoudj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Adel Kacha made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Youcef Difallah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Slimane Zemirli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Westhoughton's Rachid Korteby got a free kick in the 25th minute. Yannis Khaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Slimane Zemirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Belaout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adel Kacha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellen Ounissi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellen Ounissi to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Abdelhafid Medjoudj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adel Kacha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Youcef Difallah mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westhoughton and the Yeovil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Youcef Difallah kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Sahrane Kraouche sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adel Kacha skillfully saved the ball. Yannis Khaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slimane Zemirli having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellen Ounissi in the 74th minute of play forced Westhoughton's goalkeeper Adel Kacha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelhafid Medjoudj struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Adel Kacha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeovil. In the 78th match minute, Yeovil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Idriss Fechtali to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Yannis Khaldi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 83 minutes into the match, Westhoughton's Younes Saïdani broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Yannis Khaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slimane Zemirli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Belaout in the 86th minute of the match. Slimane Zemirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Belaout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Yeovil were awarded a corner. Sahrane Kraouche went to the cornerflag to take it. Yeovil's Sahrane Kraouche was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adel Kacha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Westhoughton left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yeovil.
