Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Billel Izghen started the match with the kick off. Atmane Saadane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Atmane Saadane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fouad Ayachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Truro United's goal looked a bit too open when Atmane Saadane came free, but Fouad Ayachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crewe City's Gebril Djebbour got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Truro United getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Djelloul Tahar hit a great ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Truro United's goalkeeper Fouad Ayachi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Billel Izghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdel Karim Saïd having to interfere. Afalawas Bentifour's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abdel Karim Saïd firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billel Izghen in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdel Karim Saïd saved Crewe City from getting behind. 29 minutes into the game, Adal Arouani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crewe City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Truro United the free kick. In the 31st minute, Bilal El Ouazzani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gebril Djebbour in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fouad Ayachi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Billel Izghen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Crewe City's zone, Billel Izghen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdel Karim Saïd came out of the goal and Billel Izghen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Gebril Djebbour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fouad Ayachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gebril Djebbour took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fouad Ayachi. Fouad Ayachi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fouad Ayachi came out of the goal and Atmane Saadane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Truro United's Billel Izghen got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gebril Djebbour in the 68th minute of play forced Truro United's goalkeeper Fouad Ayachi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Billel Izghen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 minutes, Noureddine Baïri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Truro United and the Crewe City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Truro United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Baïri to maneuver through the defense. If Afalawas Bentifour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fouad Ayachi made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Atmane Saadane sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute, Crewe City's Gebril Djebbour dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2.
