When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Billel Izghen made a kick off. A collision led to Truro United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Otman Benyagoub hit a great ball. Telford AFC's Reda Serkadji couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. Djallel Djenoui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billel Izghen, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Chérif Sahnouni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chérif Sahnouni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fouad Ayachi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Djamel Hadjar lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Truro United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Telford AFC:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Telford AFC. After 90 minutes of play, Truro United's Afalawas Bentifour made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Djallel Djenoui was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Telford AFC booed when Truro United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afalawas Bentifour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Larbi Messaoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Truro United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Telford AFC.
