In the 33rd minute Safi Assous shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sid Ahmed Hammou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Abderrahmane Belhouche notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of New Romney's Atik Abbes. Atik Abbes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. New Ash Green United's Sid Ahmed Hammou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save New Ash Green United from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Laïd Zerguelaine succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 52nd playminute. Abderrahmane Belhouche had several of the New Romney's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 59 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Atik Abbes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Atik Abbes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abderrahmane Belhouche showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 63 minute of play. Ghazi Ziani's late challenge caught a New Ash Green United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atik Abbes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, New Romney's goalkeeper Atik Abbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laïd Zerguelaine. 93 minutes into the match, New Ash Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Safi Assous came free, but Sid Ahmed Hammou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Mehdi Lelouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sid Ahmed Hammou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to New Ash Green United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Amar Selmi hit a great ball. New Ash Green United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
