Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abdulhamid Bilal kicked off to start the match. Abdulhamid Bilal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kassel Mezair read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Nabil Mesbah notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Market Harborough's Kassel Mezair. Kassel Mezair was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Portchester's goal looked a bit too open when Stéphane Diss came free, but Abderraouf Kouidri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adil Halouadji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abderraouf Kouidri having to interfere. Abderraouf Kouidri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stéphane Diss, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Ibrahim Benbrahim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abderraouf Kouidri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Abderraouf Kouidri made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Adil Halouadji sent off a good shot on target. Adil Halouadji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Abderraouf Kouidri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Portchester's Abderraouf Kouidri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stéphane Diss in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nabil Mesbah in the 33rd minute of play forced Market Harborough's goalkeeper Kassel Mezair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafik Zeghni hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Nabil Mesbah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Market Harborough got a freekick which was hit by Lakhdar El Karimi. After 44 minutes Market Harborough's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adal Benbrahim who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Portchester's corner Adal Benbrahim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kassel Mezair quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Abderraouf Kouidri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stéphane Diss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Portchester's goal looked a bit too open when Stéphane Diss came free, but Abderraouf Kouidri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Abdulhamid Bilal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nabil Mesbah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kassel Mezair having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Market Harborough got a freekick which was hit by Stéphane Diss. After a rather tough play, Market Harborough's Rachid Brahmi got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a little luck, Market Harborough's Kassel Mezair got control of the ball when Nabil Mesbah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nabil Mesbah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Market Harborough's zone, Nabil Mesbah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kassel Mezair came out of the goal and Nabil Mesbah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nabil Mesbah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abderraouf Kouidri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Halouadji in the 95th minute of the match. The Portchester players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
