If Abdelkader Ziani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Banou Attyya in the 7th minute of play forced Sandy's goalkeeper Meziane Dziri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karim Banou Attyya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achraf Faudel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meziane Dziri having to interfere. Assad Matmour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmoumen Benichou in the 21st minute of the match. Assad Matmour came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sandy's Madin Benhabiles. But to his dismay, Madin Benhabiles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 29th minute of the match Camel Amri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Assad Matmour skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Madin Benhabiles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandy's supporters rose to their feet, but Madin Benhabiles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Assad Matmour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Arundel United's goal looked a bit too open when Madin Benhabiles came free, but Assad Matmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Slimane Teissier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandy's Meziane Dziri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sandy from getting a goal against them. Meziane Dziri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Banou Attyya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karim Banou Attyya was the one to do the kick off. Slimane Teissier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meziane Dziri having to interfere. Aberkane Sellal hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sandy's Bahasz Chaouchi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Abdelkader Ziani fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arundel United's protests and gave Abdelkader Ziani a yellow card for diving instead. Abdelkader Ziani hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, one of Sandy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Arundel United. Rayan Kaci stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Meziane Dziri. 1-1. In the 76th minute Madin Benhabiles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Assad Matmour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madin Benhabiles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Assad Matmour having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Abdelkader Ziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Arundel United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achraf Faudel to maneuver through the defense. Sandy's Abdelmoumen Benichou got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slimane Teissier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Bahasz Chaouchi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arundel United the free kick. A collision led to Sandy getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Bahasz Chaouchi hit a great ball. If Slimane Teissier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karim Banou Attyya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Meziane Dziri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
