Halesworth United's Zinedine Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Morceli in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Halesworth United's Omar Menad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kamil Sermadji narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Shepshed's Omar Morceli got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Morceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Macias having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Shepshed's goalkeeper Kamil Sermadji had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Menad. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shepshed's goalkeeper Kamil Sermadji, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Omar Menad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinedine Macias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benamar Oussar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Omar Menad could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Kamil Sermadji however easily saved by the left post. If Omar Morceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamil Sermadji made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Menad in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Halesworth United's goal looked a bit too open when Benamar Oussar came free, but Zinedine Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bellemou Djazouli was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Yunes Zeggar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shepshed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halesworth United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Shepshed's Yunes Zeggar got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Bellemou Djazouli came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Halesworth United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bellemou Djazouli couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Halesworth United's Zinedine Macias got control of the ball when Omar Morceli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Morceli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kamil Sermadji showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bellemou Djazouli, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Shepshed's zone, Omar Menad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamil Sermadji came out of the goal and Omar Menad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fouhad Mamouni kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Halesworth United's goal looked a bit too open when Benamar Oussar came free, but Zinedine Macias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Shepshed booed when Halesworth United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelnasser Zeghoudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Omar Morceli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Morceli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Zinedine Macias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdelnasser Zeghoudi charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdelnasser Zeghoudi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Halesworth United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelnasser Zeghoudi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bellemou Djazouli in the 93rd minute of play forced Shepshed's goalkeeper Kamil Sermadji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Omar Menad notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Shepshed's Kamil Sermadji. Kamil Sermadji was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Halesworth United had won after a very even match.
