Joudi Aflelou took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilassen Faudel. Stokesley United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adal Mansouri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reda Lacen having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Stokesley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atik Ibrir to maneuver through the defense. Birkenhead's Reda Lacen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adal Mansouri in the 28th minute of play. If Florian Camus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Khaled Bellemou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florian Camus succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Camus made a kick off. Reda Lacen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Bellemou in the 55th minute of the match. Joudi Aflelou hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Issan Abrika was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stokesley United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birkenhead the free kick. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ilassen Faudel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Camus in the 73rd minute of play. Birkenhead's Florian Camus got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khaled Bellemou in the 77th minute of play forced Birkenhead's goalkeeper Reda Lacen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 played minutes Stokesley United got a freekick which was hit by Moussa Djenia. Florian Camus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilassen Faudel having to interfere.
