Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Younes Fahima started the match with the kick off. Younes Fahima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Colchester's goal looked a bit too open when Younes Fahima came free, but Tedj Horr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaddour Bezzaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amri Benguesmia in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Croston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amri Benguesmia came free, but Kaddour Bezzaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Croston FC got a freekick which was hit by Kader Saâdane. After having played for 26 minutes, Yidir Mazigh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colchester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yidir Mazigh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustapha Hansali kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Yidir Mazigh in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kaddour Bezzaz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Younes Fahima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tedj Horr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Younes Fahima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Younes Fahima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tedj Horr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Younes Fahima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Croston FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Croston FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Colchester's Tedj Horr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Younes Fahima in the 57th minute of play. Younes Fahima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tedj Horr having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Colchester's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nadir Bessou fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Nadir Bessou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yidir Mazigh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Kaddour Bezzaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Younes Fahima struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Tedj Horr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croston FC. In the 81st match minute, Colchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinedine Ahmed to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Colchester's goal looked a bit too open when Younes Fahima came free, but Tedj Horr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Yidir Mazigh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Noureddine Zafour was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croston FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colchester the free kick. The supporters of Colchester booed when Croston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noureddine Zafour didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaddour Bezzaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amri Benguesmia, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Croston FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
