Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chakib Halouadji took the kick off in the first half of the match. Boumedienne Kheyari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Souad Sadmi in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Paignton AFC's Hafs Athbedj got a free kick in the 4th minute. Souad Sadmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Chakib Halouadji's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bakir Gourion was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. A hard shot 12 in the game by Yahia Dib from a close distance when the talented Bakir Gourion managed to make a qualified save. Verwood's players were relieved. In the 15th match minute, Paignton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelkader Metref to maneuver through the defense. If Souad Sadmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verwood's Bakir Gourion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chakib Halouadji in the 26th minute of play. Medjadi Sermadji blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bakir Gourion having to make a save. In the 37th minute Chakib Halouadji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakir Gourion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chakib Halouadji in the 39th minute of play forced Verwood's goalkeeper Bakir Gourion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yahia Dib came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bakir Gourion could save by the left post. If Chakib Halouadji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nadir Serkadji to make the kick off. If Yahia Dib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bakir Gourion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chakib Halouadji in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Chakib Halouadji's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bakir Gourion was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Bakir Gourion came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Paignton AFC's Yahia Dib. But to his dismay, Yahia Dib quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Chakib Halouadji came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Paignton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chakib Halouadji couldn't finish the play. Bakir Gourion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahia Dib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boumedienne Kheyari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir Serkadji in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Verwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafik Bouzid to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Verwood's Rafik Bouzid slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boumedienne Kheyari. That made the score 1-1 after 78 minutes of play. A collision led to Verwood getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Youssef Nasri hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Yahia Dib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakir Gourion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Paignton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacim Zemmam to maneuver through the defense. When Nadir Serkadji came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Verwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nadir Serkadji couldn't finish the play. When Paignton AFC's Chakib Halouadji in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verwood's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the game, one of Verwood:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Verwood:s Bakir Gourion showed great skill when he stopped Driss Embarek:s penalty. If Chakib Halouadji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Paignton AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
