Sandy City's Walid Cixous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Massoud Djaghloul in the 31st minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Sandy City's Abdelhani Rezkallah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yahia Cixous narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Zaïm Mammeri came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Old Clipstone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaïm Mammeri couldn't finish the play.

55 minutes into the game, Nourredine Achiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Old Clipstone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandy City the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelkader Fahima in the 58th minute of play forced Old Clipstone's goalkeeper Yahia Cixous to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 played minutes Old Clipstone got a freekick which was hit by Farid Hadfi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdelkader Fahima in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yahia Cixous prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdelkader Fahima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahia Cixous having to interfere. Nourredine Achiu was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Sandy City booed when Old Clipstone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nourredine Achiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Abdelhani Rezkallah had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yahia Cixous. Old Clipstone's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelhani Rezkallah was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 81 minutes into the match, Old Clipstone's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelhani Rezkallah came free, but Yahia Cixous reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Sandy City's goalkeeper Walid Cixous had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Massoud Djaghloul. Walid Cixous was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Massoud Djaghloul showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 88 minute of play. Old Clipstone's Yahia Cixous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelkader Fahima in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
