Noureddine Sahnouni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sofyane Sellal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thelma Ouenjellis short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Noureddine Sahnouni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, Midhurst's goalkeeper Noureddine Sahnouni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sofyane Sellal. When Sofyane Sellal came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Gorton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sofyane Sellal couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Issam Mansouri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amzun Sifi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Issam Mansouri in the 30th minute of play forced Gorton AFC's goalkeeper Amzun Sifi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amzun Sifi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Issam Mansouri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Camel Oudin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorton AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Midhurst the free kick. Camel Oudin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Afsahi Haddadj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Amzun Sifi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issam Mansouri in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Issam Mansouri to strike the kick off in the second half. Noureddine Sahnouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thelma Ouenjelli in the 55th minute of play. If Issam Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofyane Sellal in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noureddine Sahnouni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Midhurst getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Nassim Azem hit a great ball. Afsahi Haddadj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Amzun Sifi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sofyane Sellal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Gorton AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
