Cherif Ayachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yamine Ibrir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yamine Ibrir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cherif Ayachi having to interfere. When Mohamed Djeballi fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Codnor United's protests and gave Mohamed Djeballi a yellow card for diving instead. Mohamed Djeballi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Cherif Ayachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yamine Ibrir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Djeballi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Hanoune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Messaoud in the 33rd minute of the match. If Abbes Zenati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yamine Ibrir to make the kick off. Yamine Ibrir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cherif Ayachi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Codnor United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yamine Ibrir 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. When Yamine Ibrir came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Godmanchester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yamine Ibrir couldn't finish the play. Hassan Ataïlyya kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Codnor United's goalkeeper Cherif Ayachi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abbes Zenati. Yamine Ibrir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cherif Ayachi having to interfere. Hamid Messaoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Hanoune having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Rayane Abrika sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Codnor United's Cherif Ayachi didn't even have to move. The supporters of Godmanchester FC booed when Codnor United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahd Kholt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codnor United's Cherif Ayachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yamine Ibrir in the 100th minute of play.
