A collision led to St Annes on Sea getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bazga Selmi hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, St Annes on Sea's goalkeeper Nordine Belaout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Massoud Chebal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind St Annes on Sea's goalkeeper Nordine Belaout, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Massoud Chebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yacine Apap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samy Zaccari in the 29th minute of play. Massoud Chebal in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nordine Belaout, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Djallal El Aychi charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Djallal El Aychi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Djamal Amrouche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgnorth's supporters rose to their feet, but Djamal Amrouche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nordine Belaout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nordine Belaout was a little too slow when Abderrahmane Benguergoura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. Yacine Apap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samy Zaccari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 played minutes Bridgnorth got a freekick which was hit by Djamal Amrouche. In the 58th minute Abderrahmane Benguergoura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nordine Belaout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Bridgnorth got a freekick which was hit by Cheikha Boutabout. Yacine Apap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samy Zaccari, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Madjid Bachdjerrah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Yacine Apap made a huge save. Samy Zaccari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yacine Apap having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Samy Zaccari reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yacine Apap. The goal made the score 1-1. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Madjid Bachdjerrah put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Yacine Apap. Lakhdar Chaib hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Abderrahmane Benguergoura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nordine Belaout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Bridgnorth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelnasser Barbarossa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samy Zaccari in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yacine Apap saved Bridgnorth from getting behind. Abderrahmane Benguergoura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nordine Belaout having to interfere. The St Annes on Sea supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing St Annes on Sea would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
