Wolverhampton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afaghis Guergour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fouad Mansouri in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rachid Zenia saved Wolverhampton FC from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Ishak Kherroum notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wolverhampton FC's Rachid Zenia. Rachid Zenia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saadi Ali during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wolverhampton FC booed when St Annes on Sea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saadi Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afaghis Guergour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fadhil Fergani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramdane Kerbouche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ishak Kherroum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolverhampton FC's Ramdane Kerbouche got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fouad Mansouri was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Afaghis Guergour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverhampton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afaghis Guergour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fadhil Fergani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 53rd minute of the match Saadi Ali completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saadi Ali a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 55th minute of the match Boussad Zemirli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fadhil Fergani skillfully saved the ball. Ramdane Kerbouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadhil Fergani having to interfere. Wolverhampton FC's Afaghis Guergour got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramdane Kerbouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fadhil Fergani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to St Annes on Sea FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Adib Dahleb hit a great ball. If Ishak Kherroum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Afaghis Guergour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St Annes on Sea FC's Fadhil Fergani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the St Annes on Sea FC defense, Afaghis Guergour kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fadhil Fergani. The St Annes on Sea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fadhil Fergani should have stopped the shot. Afaghis Guergour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadhil Fergani having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afaghis Guergour in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fadhil Fergani saved St Annes on Sea FC from getting behind. Ramdane Kerbouche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fadhil Fergani having to make a save. After having played for 92 minutes, Afaghis Guergour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverhampton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afaghis Guergour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fadhil Fergani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramdane Kerbouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. St Annes on Sea FC's Fadhil Fergani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afaghis Guergour in the 96th minute of play. The St Annes on Sea FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
