The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tijani Benboudaoud stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Leigh on Sea AFC and the Lutterworth players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yassine Fari kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Abderazak Djoudi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jahid Halouadji in the 83rd minute of play forced Leigh on Sea AFC's goalkeeper Bellemou Kherroum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lutterworth's Tijani Benboudaoud got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Afsahi Zaghrani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lutterworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afsahi Zaghrani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tijani Benboudaoud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bellemou Kherroum having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
