Fouad Belmadi struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Boumedienne Djenane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melksham. 11 minutes into the match, Melksham's goalkeeper Ramzi Dhahhak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moncef El Karimi. After 15 played minutes Melksham got a freekick which was hit by Jawed Nekkar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilassen Bouchnak in the 19th minute of play forced South Kilworth City's goalkeeper Boumedienne Djenane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ilassen Bouchnak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 played minutes South Kilworth City got a freekick which was hit by Hakim Fillali. If Moncef El Karimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 46 minutes, Ketta Taha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Kilworth City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ketta Taha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilassen Bouchnak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilassen Bouchnak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Boumedienne Djenane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fouad Belmadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boumedienne Djenane having to interfere. In the 69th minute Ilassen Bouchnak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boumedienne Djenane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ilassen Bouchnak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fouad Belmadi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boumedienne Djenane having to make a save. Fouad Belmadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Boumedienne Djenane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, South Kilworth City's Omar Baroudi got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Ilassen Bouchnak came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Melksham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilassen Bouchnak couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Ilassen Bouchnak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boumedienne Djenane. The goal made the score 1-2. Ramzi Dhahhak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moncef El Karimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Melksham players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
