The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Amrouche during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Amrouche kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Whitstable's Fares Moussaoui, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Whitstable. 31 minutes into the match, Whitstable's goalkeeper Anaba Mesbah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamza Khennane. After a defensive mix-up in Broughton Astley FC's zone, Fares Moussaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khalida Mazouni came out of the goal and Fares Moussaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Khalida Mazouni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allaoua Kerbouche in the 52nd minute. Broughton Astley FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fares Moussaoui 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Whitstable's Allaoua Kerbouche got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Khennane in the 79th minute of play forced Whitstable's goalkeeper Anaba Mesbah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allaoua Kerbouche got free with Khalida Mazouni in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Broughton Astley FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fateh Bourbon hit a great ball. With a little luck, Broughton Astley FC's Khalida Mazouni got control of the ball when Allaoua Kerbouche tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fares Moussaoui in the 94th minute of play forced Broughton Astley FC's goalkeeper Khalida Mazouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Broughton Astley FC's corner Madin Djenane fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anaba Mesbah quite easily take care of the ball. Whitstable's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
