In the 4thth minute of the game Kaci Rahmani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castle Donington AFC's Madin Bouzina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Castle Donington AFC's Abdelhamid Ioualalen got a free kick in the 6th minute. Abdelhamid Ioualalen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lounes Zeghdoud having to interfere. In the 16th minute Hocine El Amri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lounes Zeghdoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Castle Donington AFC booed when Mablethorpe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salih Fellahi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Madin Bouzina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salih Fellahi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Castle Donington AFC's zone, Younes El Kounya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madin Bouzina came out of the goal and Younes El Kounya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Hocine El Amri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lounes Zeghdoud was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Castle Donington AFC's Hocine El Amri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lounes Zeghdoud. Lounes Zeghdoud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Yamine Bouzid kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Mablethorpe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hocine El Amri came free, but Lounes Zeghdoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Castle Donington AFC's Abdechahid Nasro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lounes Zeghdoud. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hocine El Amri to make the kick off. The supporters of Castle Donington AFC booed when Mablethorpe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salih Fellahi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castle Donington AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Madjid Macias shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mablethorpe FC's zone, Hocine El Amri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lounes Zeghdoud came out of the goal and Hocine El Amri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Mablethorpe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Younes Gallaire came free, but Lounes Zeghdoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mablethorpe FC's Allaoua Skif got a free kick in the 65th minute. Younes Gallaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaci Rahmani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Younes El Kounya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, Hocine El Amri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lounes Zeghdoud. Mablethorpe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hocine El Amri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 89 played minutes Mablethorpe FC got a freekick which was hit by Madjid Macias. If Kaci Rahmani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Mablethorpe FC's Madin Bouzina threw himself towards the right post 101 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kaci Rahmani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mablethorpe FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
